Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Haru Studio ("Company") and users in connection with the use of the mobile application "Haru" and related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by the Company, as well as other necessary matters.
Article 2 (Definitions)
- "Service" means the AI-powered schedule, routine, to-do, conversation, and memory management mobile application and related website provided by the Company.
- "User" means any member or non-member who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service.
- "Account" means the email address or social login identifier registered by the User for user identification and use of the Service.
- "Content" means all text, voice, and image data entered, created, or uploaded by the User through the Service.
Article 3 (Posting and Amendment of Terms)
- The Company shall post these Terms on the initial screen of the Service and on its website so that Users can easily access them.
- The Company may amend these Terms to the extent that such amendments do not violate applicable laws. In the event of any amendment, the Company shall notify Users of the effective date and reason for the amendment at least 7 days in advance. For changes that are unfavorable to Users or are material in nature, notice shall be given at least 30 days in advance.
- If a User does not agree to the amended Terms, the User may terminate the service agreement.
Article 4 (Membership Registration)
- Membership is established when a User agrees to these Terms and completes identity verification through social login (Google, Apple, LINE) or email.
- The Company may refuse a registration request or subsequently terminate the service agreement in any of the following cases:
- Use of another person's identity or submission of false information
- Users under the age of 14 (registered without the consent of a legal guardian)
- Cases that may be contrary to public order and morals
Article 5 (Provision and Modification of the Service)
- The Company provides the following services:
- AI conversation and counseling
- Routine, to-do, and schedule management and notifications
- Automatic extraction and management of memories (notes)
- Care (schedule sharing among companions) feature
- Subscription payments and premium features
- The Company may modify all or part of the Service as necessary for operational or technical reasons, and will provide advance notice of such changes.
Article 6 (User Obligations)
Users shall not engage in any of the following:
- Misappropriation of another person's information or entry of false information
- Distribution of illegal or harmful content through the Service
- Infringement of intellectual property rights, including copyrights, of the Company or third parties
- Acts that interfere with the normal operation of the Service (crawling, reverse engineering, excessive API calls, etc.)
- Using the AI for purposes of self-harm, harm to others, or criminal activity
Article 7 (Paid Services and Payments)
- Premium subscriptions are paid through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Subscriptions renew automatically and can be cancelled through the subscription management menu of each store.
- Refunds are governed by the policies of each store.
- The Company may offer promotion codes and discount benefits, and promotion codes shall be used under the conditions set by the Company.
- Upon expiration of the free trial period, the subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription. No charges will be incurred if cancelled during the trial period.
- Subscription fees are billed through each store's payment system, and prices may change with prior notice.
- After cancellation, premium features remain available until the end of the current billing period.
Article 8 (Termination and Withdrawal of Membership)
- Users may delete their account at any time through "Settings > Delete Account" in the Service or by separate withdrawal request.
- Upon withdrawal, the User's personal information and Content shall be handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
- The Company may terminate the service agreement after prior notice if a User materially breaches these Terms.
Article 9 (Disclaimer)
- The Company shall not be liable for any service interruption caused by force majeure events such as natural disasters, war, or communication failures.
- The Company does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of information generated by the AI. Users are strongly encouraged to consult qualified professionals for matters requiring expert judgment, including medical, legal, and financial matters.
- The Company has no obligation to intervene in disputes arising between Users, or between a User and a third party, through the Service.
Article 10 (Dispute Resolution)
- These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
- In the event of any dispute arising in connection with the use of the Service, the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Company's head office shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
